Two powerful technologies combined for your pea and lentil crops

TagTeam® microbial seed treatment helps increase nutrient uptake in pea and lentil crops. This dual-action inoculant from Monsanto BioAg combines two powerful technologies: a nitrogen-fixing rhizobia inoculant and Penicillium bilaiae, a bacteria that can help make phosphate in the soil more readily available to plants.

Not only can TagTeam technology help improve yield potential — it can also help unlock the value of other inputs and resources.

The Benefits of Using TagTeam

Greater availability of soil and fertilizer phosphate, which supports root and shoot growth.
Improved fertilizer efficiency.
Greater opportunity for the development of nitrogen-fixing nodules. (Why are nodules so important? View our infographic.)
Increased nitrogen fixation through nodule formation.

How It Works

Freeing Phosphate

Penicillium bilaiae releases bound mineral forms of soil and fertilizer phosphate, making it more available for the plant to use.

Beneficial Rhizobia

Specially selected rhizobia form a beneficial relationship with the plant, creating nodules which help fix atmospheric nitrogen.
